Story of our school

In September 1999, in a building in the center of Tirana, the Educational Institute "Ray of Light" began its journey in the field of education. In its beginnings, it had only three primary school classes with 47 students. From the first steps she proved that it was a serious school with high demands in education and success was not long in coming. The increase in the number of students and its expectations made it only after two years to move to the new institution near the Palace of Brigades. Year after year, the school has significantly increased the number of students and classes and today it marks a number of 22 classes that rank it among the most prestigious and highest level schools in the field of non-public education in the city of Tirana and beyond. The new school has a modern infrastructure that covers a wide area of ​​5000 m2 and is located in one of the most picturesque and quiet areas of Tirana, surrounded by greenery and fresh air. Qualified and very professional pedagogical staff, modern logistical means, the interior of this school meet all the modern pedagogical requirements of today for teaching and education. The number of students is increasing year by year and today in its 15th year it counts over 400 students in the 9-year cycle and secondary education. In the school year 2004-2005 the school opened its doors from the banks of which in the school year 2007-2008 the first graduates graduate. From year to year the high school has marked high achievements in the State Matura results, becoming a sure guarantee of the future of the graduates in branches selected by them, in the merit-preference system. Many of our graduates today study both at home and abroad in the most prestigious universities and in the most sought after branches of state faculties, such as: medicine, economic informatics, finance, engineering, law, etc. School years, for our students, are years of work and learning, as busy as it is beautiful. The acquisition of scientific knowledge by students, their knowledge of cultural, national and world values ​​favors their full development as citizens of a democratic country, able to meet the challenges of life and to be worthy members of society.
